My pal Brendan and I play lots of games in our free time; we play them online and we play card and board games with out friends. In fact, we have a room in my basement dedicated entirely to the practice that we call the “gaming zone.” Down there, we have lots of entertainment systems hooked up so that at the flip of a switch, we can try out a new console. We also have lots of boards and tables in the back of the room so we can set up something to play. I am on a big kick for the little flash animated ones online; they’re so simple and fun and they’re usually able to be related to a life skill such as driving or fishing, so it’s not mindless in that sense. I also love a good word power endeavor; something that will help me build up my brain like a crossword or quote falls or something similar to that.
