Choosing a job in the medical field really is the best choice that a person can make. I had been working as a medical assistant for three years and I thought that it was a great job. Working in that fashion allowed me to work closely with nurses and doctors and it also helped me make a decision. I loved working closely with patients but I wanted to do more. I decided that I was going to return to school so that I could become a nurse. I really took a long time to come to my decision but I now feel like that is the best decision for me, my family, and my future. I did not quit my job when I returned to school, I just would go to school at nights. It took me two additional years to get my registered nursing license. I am so happy that I went back to school, because now I am doing a job that I love.
